Job Description :
1. To answer the phone at the restaurant in a pleasant manner.
2. To take reservation for the table.
3. Before the service, she check the atmosphere of the restaurant, flower, set up display table, curtain well
arrange….etc,.
4. Welcome and greet the guest into restaurant and show them to the table.
5. She may assist the service with the duties of waitress when needed.
6. To received food and service complaint from the guest, solve the problem on the spot or in case of
necessary relays the complaints to supervisor or manager.
7. Say farewell to the guest upon guest’s departure, inquiring upon their satisfaction.
8. Transmit all complaints or suggestion received from guest to Restaurant Manager after service if there is
not urgent.
POSITION OVERVIEW
1. Communicates effectively with guests, subordinates, immediate superior and other section heads.
2. Identifies and solves problem in service (If it possible) in a professional manner.
3. To assist preparing daily cover count and revenue report for the restaurant.
4. Attend training session and meeting required for the position.
5. Keep the record, statistic of all activities, promotions, daily buffet, reservation, Database, Guest’s history
etc,.
